[Video] Echo ships on TechCrunch and Guy Kawasaki
Today Echo went live on the first test post on TechCrunch and across Guy Kawasaki’s blog.
We are excited to be working with Guy and the team at Techcrunch to bring real-time distributed conversation to users.
I thought I would take this opportunity to dig deeper into some parts of the new Echo platform – in particular, the new Echo Comment Form.
The new form has a number of key advantages. Here are three screencasts to illustrate the main new features and user experience changes.
We look forward to your feedback!
Account Binding
The new Echo Comment Form allows people to connect to your site using their profile from the world’s most popular social networks. Users can even bind multiple social media accounts together.
The result is a richer profile for each of your visitors and better visibility into their background.
Sharing
Visitors share your content with their friends across all their favorite social networks at once – broadening the conversation and driving new traffic back to your site.
Multimedia
Echo items can include safe HTML, full resolution image attachments and video for a richer conversation.
Give it a go…
Try it below or on TechCrunch and across Guy Kawasaki’s blog.
