Philippe Cailloux

Philippe joined JS-Kit to focus on Product Management, and User Experience. He brings 15+ years of world-class consumer product leadership from previous tenures as Principal Designer and Manager of the Product Design Group at Adobe, Director Product Design at Roxio, VP Product Design and Product Management at FilmLoop, and from consulting for some of the most successful Internet startups.

Philippe has trained many User Experience professionals and served as Vice-Chair of Interaction Design for the Industrial Design Society of America. Philippe is also an avid photographer and serves as co-president of “the best little Camera Club in Palo Alto”.

Felix Lin
VP Business Development, JS-Kit

With a track record of crafting successful technology licensing, marketing and distribution partnerships, Felix is responsible for business development, technology licensing and indirect distribution at JS-Kit.

Felix spent the first half of his 20 years in the software industry developing and marketing enterprise database applications before becoming the founder and CEO of mobile internet software company AvantGo, email security and anti-spam software company Qurb, Inc. and consumer Internet travel company PickPackGo.

While at AvantGo, Felix licensed award-winning AvantGo technology to industry leaders Microsoft and Palm, and raised more than $125M in venture capital and the company’s IPO. Qurb software received PC Magazine’s Editors Choice Award for three years in a row, and was distributed by several OEM resellers before the company was acquired by Computer Associates. Felix also served as a Board member for venture-backed Avvenu (acquired by Nokia).

Chris’ background includes co-authoring of APML and the Co-Founding the DataPortability Project.

Attention Profiling Markup Language (APML) is the industry standard for Attention Profiles. A machine readable presentation of a user’s interests. Used by Digg, BBC, NewsGator, France Telecom and others, APML is the OPML of Interests. The DataPortability project’s mission is to advocate inter-operable DataPortability for users, developers and vendors. With official participation from Google, Facebook, Microsoft, MySpace, Plaxo and others, the DataPortability project is the organization that turned the data portability conversation into a full on riot.

Chris’ role at JS-Kit is to track trends in the marketplace, listen to and participate in the community and translate those needs to actionable product direction.

Vlad has been in the Internet industry for over 10 years focusing on design and implementation of server-side applications on the UNIX platform. He has background in information retrieval, high-performance and distributed systems.

Before joining JS-Kit Vlad was a member of Yahoo’s highly acclaimed FlexForce (aka “Tiger”) team providing professional software engineering services to teams all across the company.

He has over 3 years of experience in web applications programming as well as a background in customer support for e-commerce software. Being a proficient JS-Kit tech support engineer, he is always ready to help customers either providing them with tips and tricks or resolving technical issues.

Alexander has extensive experience in development and support of e-commerce systems, over eight years experience in UNIX systems administration and Cisco based equipment administration.  At JS-Kit Alexander works on integration with third party systems.
