As of today, users can log in to JS-Kit widgets and share their interactions via Facebook.

This makes JS-Kit the first commenting service and social widget provider to integrate with Facebook Connect. But we’re not stopping there.

Today we are also announcing our commitment to implement Google Friend Connect, MySpace Data Availability and any other relevant authentication scheme to reduce the friction for our users and publishers. This will be done in the coming weeks.

Our overriding interest, however, will continue to be OpenID. Users will be able to log in with OpenID and bind their Facebook Connect account to their profile. They will also be able to bind all their other services to create a multi-way binding between them. They will be able to log in with any of their bound accounts.

Further, we are commited to finding ways to enable user-centric open standards access to our account data via OpenID and will continue to work with the community to define that process.
